Since COVID-19 first arrived in the United States, First Financial Group of America made every effort to battle it by implementing our business continuity protocols. This allowed us to continue assisting our customers while keeping them and our colleagues safe. Plus, because these protocols were already established, we can carry on business as usual, providing uninterrupted customer service.
As vaccines become readily available in our communities, we are optimistic that the world will soon return to normal activities. In the meantime, we will continue taking steps to protect our employees, customers and their families. Additionally, we will provide resources to help you understand laws and regulations about COVID-19 relief and plan provisions so that you are educated on how you and your employees may be affected.
One major adjustment to our business practices was creating an Enrollment Assistance Center (EAC) to conduct open enrollment appointments. While we typically hold on-site enrollments, we knew that an alternative was needed to safely enroll employees during COVID-19. Districts can choose from the following methods based on what fits their needs best.
- On-site Enrollments: We are happy to conduct open enrollment meetings onsite using personal protective equipment including face masks, hand sanitizer and gloves.
- Enrollment Assistance Center: Customers can call a fully-staffed call center to speak with a First Financial Account Manager for assistance with benefit enrollment.
- Online: This option allows employees to enroll online at their convenience.
We have seen tremendous success with our Enrollment Assistance Center (EAC) as it combines personal assistance with safety measures that keep everyone protected. Read our blog article for more information about our EAC.
Customers who call our home office for assistance can rest assured that First Financial colleagues are available to provide uninterrupted service. Customer service at the core of what we do, and we are committed to supporting our clients during their time of need.
As always, the First Financial Team is here to help. Please reach out to your Branch Manager or Account Representative for assistance as we continue to conduct business during these challenging conditions.
