Dawson Schnautz, President & CEO, FFC
Dawson Schnautz has been with First Financial Group of America for 30 years. He is currently President and CEO of First Financial Corporation. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics from Texas A&M in 1985. Additionally, Schnautz holds his Group 1, Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses.
As CEO and President of First Financial Group of America, Schnautz is responsible for the entire company in sales and operations. His primary responsibility is maintaining the success of our 50-year-old company through growing our customer base via personal relationships and living our mantra, “First in Service and Expertise.”
Schnautz currently lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Kim. He and Kim have been married for 26 years and have two sons, Brady and Brandon. In his spare time, Schnautz enjoys fishing and golfing.

Sherrie Pruitt, President, FFA
Sherrie Pruitt has been employed with First Financial Group of America since 1984. She is currently President of First Financial Administrators, Inc. / Vice President First Financial Capital Corporation.
With more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, Pruitt understands what it takes to keep benefit plans running successfully. She holds her Series 6, 63, and 24 Securities licenses is certified in Flexible Compensation Instruction (CFCI). Additionally, she is designated as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and an agent for Legal Reserve Life Insurance by the Texas Department of Insurance.
Pruitt is also appointed with the National Tax Sheltered annuities Association (NTSAA), the Employers Council for Flexible Compensation (ECFC), The Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Southwest Benefits Association. Plus, she is HSA and COBRA certified.
In her present role, she oversees the management of benefit plans and handles escalated issues. She also notifies customers of any changes in legislation and provides guidance regarding compliance.

Larry Forrester has been with First Financial Group of America for 18 years. His current role is Chief Financial Officer of the company. Forrester is also President of First Financial Securities. As CFO, Forrester oversees the accounting, commissions, treasury and compliance departments. He is a Certified Public Accountant and also holds licenses in Group 1 insurance and Series 63, 7, 24, 27 and 53 securities.
Forrester graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He currently resides in Spring, Texas.
